sustainability

Refined design, responsible sourcing.

Responsible Wood Sourcing

We work exclusively with certified commercial woods sourced through regulated and traceable supply chains. This helps ensure that the forests providing our materials are managed responsibly and renewed over time.

We do not use endangered or restricted species. Our approach ensures that solid wood remains a renewable material — used with respect and care.

Circular Material Use

Every part of our manufacturing process is designed to reduce waste and make responsible use of material.

  • Excess wood and material offcuts are collected and dispose to recycling.
  • CNC nesting and toolpaths are optimized to minimize unused volume.
  • Reusable pieces are kept for prototypes, testing, and development.

We treat material as a resource, not something disposable.

Natural, Sustainable Finishing Oils

Most of our pieces are protected with high-quality natural oil finishes that are designed for sustainability and indoor safety. These finishes are free from harmful chemicals, have extremely low VOC emissions, and are fully compliant with modern environmental standards.

Unlike traditional coatings, natural oils bond at a molecular level with the wood, creating long-lasting protection without forming layers. This keeps the material breathable, repairable, and closer to its natural feel.

The oils we use also support low-waste application methods, require minimal product volume, and prioritize ecological responsibility throughout their lifecycle.

For us, finishing is not just about appearance — it is part of our commitment to sustainability, indoor wellbeing, and the long-term natural aging of solid wood.

Built to Last

Sustainability is also longevity.

Our products are engineered and crafted to last for decades — solid structures, refined joints, durable finishes, and timeless forms.

A piece that remains in use for a lifetime has a far lower environmental impact than anything disposable or trend-driven.

Conscious Craftsmanship

From sourcing and design to manufacturing and finishing, every choice is made with intention.

We believe sustainability is not a label — it is a responsibility we carry in every part we create.

Replanting

We take personal responsibility for giving back to nature.

As part of this, we follow a simple internal principle:

For every 1 m³ of wood we use, we are planting of 1 new tree.

This is our own voluntary contribution — a quiet action to help ensure that what we take is always replenished.

Where vision becomes experience — follow us.
